Day 12

You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1

Depart the UK on your flight to Laos. Flights can also be arranged from any other destination or a trip can be arranged without flights.

Day 2

Welcome to Laos! You will arrive to Luang Prabang where you will be met by your driver and guide. In the afternoon take a leisurely walking tour to soak up the colonial French vibes before a relaxing game of petanque. Enjoy delicious local snacks and drinks before heading back to your hotel for some rest and relaxation. This evening dinner is included to offer you a great introduction to Laos cuisine.

Day 3

A day to enjoy some downtime by the pool, as well as a guided city tour and local lunch in a family run restaurant where you will also learn more about the ingredients used in traditional cooking.

Day 4

Today venture to a camp outside of Luang Prabang where you will spend time with the local residents; the stunning Asian elephants. Observe these stunning giants in their natural habitat, dine on a local lunch at the camp and take a dip in the pool before an afternoon watching the elephants wash themselves in the river. Finish with a visit to the waterfalls by Lao long boat. Return to town later tonight and if you fancy an evening out we recommend heading to the local night market.

Day 5

Start the day with a visit to the famous Kuang Si Waterfalls, stopping along the way at a traditional ethnic village. At the falls take a refreshing dip, dine on a picnic lunch and visit Free the Bears where you can meet the 23 resident Asiatic bears who have been rescued from poaching. This afternoon continue by road to Vang Vieng. Stop in a local fruit growing area and arrive late afternoon to enjoy time to relax.

Day 6

A fun family day out awaits - visit the Golden Crab Cave, Blue Lagoon and take a slide into the Ka River! Next visit a local village, learn about traditional weaving and travel by local boat up the Nam Song River. Your final stop is an organic farm where you can enjoy the famous mulberry tea and a local lunch. The rest of the day is free to relax as a family.

Day 7

Begin the day in true holiday style - a lie in and lazy breakfast. After time relaxing head South with your driver and guide to Vientiane. Along the way visit a local lake for a stroll. The afternoon is free at leisure before dinner at a traditional Laos restaurant serving excellent crepes!

Day 8

Today visit Buddha Park on a guided tour. Afterwards return to the city to explore the beautiful temples or stroll along the riverside promenade. This evening your guide will take you for a walking tour to try a range of local snacks at the market and browse the colourful stalls.

Day 9

Head further South on a unique adventure to Ban Kong Lor. Along the way pass through stunning scenery featuring limestone karts, forests and rice paddies. Arrive to town and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. This evening dinner is included in a local restaurant.

Day 10

Explore the famous Kong Lor Caves as a family. Get your life jacket and torch ready and enter the main caves by boat. The river flows year round and reveals incredible formations of stalactites and stalagmites, some of which you can explore on foot. At the other end of the caves visit a local village and observe the simple ways of life. This afternoon visit local farms, schools and markets on a walking tour or relax at leisure.

Day 11

Having enjoyed time away from the main tourist trail head back to the city of Vientiane for your final night. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace before an evening traditional Lao ceremony where you will receive a blessing following your incredible journey through Laos, leaving with unforgettable memories.

You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
