Start your day with an early visit to Khao Nor Juji, one of Thailand’s last remaining rainforests which is teeming with birds and other wildlife. Take a 45-minute walk through the forest with your private guide, enjoying the fresh air and sounds of birds chirping in the distance. The walk leads to Sra Morakot, a spectacular crystal-clear lagoon. Go for a swim in the refreshing lagoon and cool off after the morning trek. Continue through the jungle to a collection of natural Jacuzzis. Hidden by thick tropical plants, the Jacuzzis offer privacy and tranquillity. The waters here are believed to be curative, so choose a pond, take a dip and rejuvenate tired muscles. Then receive a head and shoulder massage at a nearby jungle pavilion, obtaining a deeper sense of relaxation. Afterward, snack on seasonal fruits and sip herbal teas – a perfect refreshment pitstop.
From here continue to a nearby restaurant where you can sample delicious Thai cuisine before you resume the journey to your hotel. En route, stop at Tiger Cave Temple, one of Krabi’s iconic sites. Learn about the history of the temple and how it is used as a meditation centre. For the energetic, there is the option to climb 1,266 stairs to a spectacular viewpoint.
